Bleasdale Heritage Centre has a wide collection of local history focusing on life in Bleasdale and its surrounding area from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day. There is a detailed section covering World War 1, which was financed from the Heritage Lottery Fund World War 1 project, entitled "The Countryside at War - Bleasdale Remembers". This includes a wide collection of World War 1 information, biographies of those who died, those who returned and a variety of photographs showing life on the Bleasdale Homefront.

Come along and use the Internet for research. We are starting a new venture and with the help of experienced researchers will be able to offer the opportunity to research family history.

Open afternoons  from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Tea and homemade cakes will be served.
